Our new golf cart got delivered after lunch on Saturday. All four seats face forward.
It's 10 inches longer and 9 inches taller than our old cart.
Toby adjusted pretty quickly.
We took a trip downtown.
The back seat is elevated. There's an LED light strip under the lip of the roof.
John got the salesman to throw in the light kit for the underside of the roof and the underside of the chassis to seal the deal. The light system has its own remote with over a hundred preset patterns. You can choose colors and brightness. We'll try them out tonight.
The sound bar hanging from the roof in back changes colors too. There are also two speakers under the dash so the sound doesn't feel like it's blasting at the back of your head.
Back seat cup holders, grab handles, mesh pockets, and a USB outlet, along with the three-point seat belts for all four seats. There are also four grab bars in the roof for each passenger and fold down arm rests.

Running boards to help with getting in and out. We're teaching Toby to jump down to the floor board first before jumping to the pavement.

A back up camera that's clearer and larger than our car's. It has green, yellow, and red lines whenever you get close to an object showing 6 feet, 4 feet, and 2 feet of space behind.
The LED running lights turn orange when signaling a turn, and the side view mirror lights up both on the back and inside the mirror on the front to warn other drivers approaching and following that you intend to turn.
We have a frunk.
The cart has a lithium ion battery instead of lead acid that we had in our old cart. Lithium ion batteries are maintenance free and ours is warrantied for 8 years (full replacement). We had to add water to our old lead acid batteries once a month and spray for corrosion twice a year. Our old batteries lasted four years, which is pretty much their life span. We got a trade in allowance, and the delivery guy took our old cart away once he delivered our new cart.
The new cart comes standard with a brush bar for a bumper, including a light bar. The only things we added were the steel belted radials and we added the optional seat brackets which moved the back of the front seat back about 2.5 inches, which makes for a more reclined ride.
It fits in the garage.
We can still get to our bikes easily.

The new cart has Apple CarPlay, so we set up our phones to work with the cart. We can play music, navigate, and basically do many of the things our phone can do through the cart's screen, like check our calendar and make calls. CarPlay is so much better than the Lexus system. CarPlay is like using your phone, and the cart's screen functions just like your phone.
