Thursday

 

We took a golf cart ride downtown this morning. First to the Post Office to pick up stamps and then to Jensen's Seafood to pick up some fresh fish for dinner.

Toby waited patiently for his cookie treat.

It was partly sunny in the upper 70s.

We did a little walking around.

And headed home for lunch.

After lunch we walked around the community center

We came upon a flock of parakeets on our last walk of the day at Stirling park.

I caught some mid-flight.

Wednesday

 

I left home before 8:00 on my bike, heading to Clearwater Beach.

I parked my bike under the double shade provided by the building and sailcloth and unfurled my yoga mat. I did my stretching hidden in the nook as people drifted by.

Afterwards, I walked along the edge of the water.

Stopped at the outdoor gym at the base of the Clearwater Causeway bridge to exercise.

The Canadian geese are passing through on their way back home to Canada for the summer.

Tuesday

 

We rode our bikes out to the Dunedin Causeway this morning to walk. We saw dolphins eating and playing off-shore.

We waited until 9:00 when it warmed up to 72 degrees.

Monday

 

I rode my bike to Clearwater Beach this morning to exercise. Today was the first day that it was warm enough to ride in the morning (72 degrees). 

My new spot is in the shadow of the hotels across the street.

I did some stretching

walked on the boardwalk a bit

and headed to the outdoor exercise equipment on the way home.

We took Toby in the golf cart to Ace Hardware to pick up some nylon washers for the upper struts holding the canopy frame at the rear of the golf cart. 

Most importantly, Toby got a treat at checkout.

We made our annual trip to Bealls to buy new t-shirts and shorts. We got Toby this cow toy.

I spent the afternoon at Clearwater Beach.

I rode my bike out to the Dunedin Causeway this morning. Then I walked to Honeymoon Island and back.

Temps were in the low 70s at the beginning. Then 75 when I finished.

We had another cool morning, so we went grocery shopping this morning. I rode my bike to Clearwater Beach after lunch for exercise.

It was a little cloudy, about 80 degrees. Windy, 11 mph.
