She passed several dogs on the beach, but she was so focused on sniffing everything that she hardly gave them a second look. She is no longer the alpha dog.
Early this morning, all I could get her to eat was one small teaspoon glob of wet dog food with her meds inside. She didn't want anything more. But after the beach trip, she ate a half can of food. The instructions on the can say she should be eating 2 1/4 cans a day for her weight. That means we need to pick up the pace. John says to make sure and explain that to Dee Dee. 😀
The beach was very pleasant at 9:00 a.m.: 76 degrees with light winds.
After our early morning walk with Dee Dee, John and I headed back out to the island for a bike ride. It got up to 83 degrees today, not as hot as predicted. I heard that North Carolina was wet and cold in the mid 50s!
