We had a beautiful morning walk on the causeway. We walked 7.6 miles for the day.
I had my LAST office hours—ever!
We are having a huge rain storm pass through. Lots of thunder and lightning. We needed the rain.
I fixed Mahi Mahi-mahi coated with flax seed and topped with roasted sliced almonds. Very good.
I’m having trouble getting motivated to cook. I love it when John cooks! There are too many other things I’d rather do. So tonight was a rare success. Not too much grumbling as I cooked.
The flowers are going to love this rain.
Dee Dee continues to do well. We have lots of fun playing tricks to get the medicine down. She ate dry dog food on her own again.
We’re getting good at buying things online to avoid risky shopping. We ordered Ulta SPF face cream, Teflon lubricant for the bicycle chains, and psyllium. Not the most environmentally conscious thing to do since each came in its own UPS truck and its own box with stuffing, even though we ordered them together.
We delivered a book to a friend, and as we were driving by all the stores we thought about how awful this time is for many of the business owners and workers. There is likely to be nothing to go back to when this pandemic is over. So many businesses and livelihoods ruined.
