Monday

Hurricane Sally rain bands continued to circulate through the Tampa Bay region today. Late morning, we decided to brave the beach and got out for a walk. There was light drizzle, but we had the beach almost to ourselves and some very large (dinner-plate size) jelly fish.

Our friend, Karen, made us some more masks. She's perfected the design. These fit great and are easy to adjust, and, of course, they look great. We now have five masks each.

The rain finally let up long enough for us to drive out to the causeway and walk. It was overcast and the temperature was in the upper 70s, almost cool.

I came home, got out the ladder, picked over 30 avocados, and delivered them to our neighbors. The avocados are huge. There are easily 100 more to pick. These Florida avacodos are for sale in Publix for $3 each!

Tuna steaks, rice, and green beans for dinner.

  1. I love the large jelly fish and really love your masks. My favorite one is the same design that Karen uses
