Sunday

This beautiful bird walked out of our front flower bed this afternoon.

After dinner, we rode our bikes down to the downtown marina to watch the sunset.

We left before the grand finale. We were both tired and wanted to get home before dark.

We had coffee and made it to the causeway for our morning walk before sunrise. It was 78 degrees and overcast with a good 7 mph breeze. We wore long sleeves.

John cooked some more chicken breasts in the crock pot. They were so tender and moist it was like eating cotton candy. I added the arugula salad and couscous. We topped both off with blue cheese dressing.

I did research for the upcoming city and county elections and state-wide amendments, printed a sample ballot, and filled it out to take with us to vote. I found the two early voting locations nearby. Both of them are just a few blocks off the trail, one in Palm Harbor (north) and one in Clearwater (south). We will be ready! This is about the only tangible way we can think of to alleviate our anxiety and stress over the upcoming elections.

I did some research for primary care doctors recommended by the North Carolina health system for our area. One name that came up was also highly recommended on our Next Door neighborhood app. I'll do some more research tomorrow. One of our requirements is that the office must be bike accessible, and this one we're thinking about is a few blocks from the baseball stadium (which is off the trail), about 5 miles from our house.
