With temperatures in the mid 80s, we hopped on our bikes after lunch and headed to Clearwater Beach. It was overcast, but comfortable. We always enjoy the corkscrew access bridge after we take a short cut through downtown Clearwater. Since they've blocked Cleveland Street (the main drag), it's very safe to navigate. You just have to be careful around the dining tables and street barricades.

The Clearwater causeway is always fun. It's very popular, but we had it mostly to ourselves this afternoon.
The Clearwater bridge is really quite beautiful, on top and below.
They have a nice marina, too.
Municipal buildings and a high-rise condominium.
Close up shot on the municipal building: Go Vote!
One of our neighbors had this sign in the yard: "Grab 'em by the ballot box." It's a clever reference to Trump's tape recorded comments to Billy Bush about women back in 2005: "You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start
kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when
you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything."
The Pinellas Trail heading to Clearwater.

We spotted this new bench across from Lucky Lobster.

And this one across from Eli's Bar-B-Que.
We looked in on the new pro shop at the Dunedin Golf Club. It's empty. The temporary shop in the trailer is still across from the new construction. This project must be the longest project ever in the history of the city. It does appear that they are using the new building to store golf carts, so all is not lost.

This morning's causeway walk was breezy and cool, about 73 degrees.
We stopped at the Weaver Park pier to make a phone call.
