 We rode our bikes out to Honeymoon Island this morning, just after sunrise. It was 75 degrees. John had a meeting with a friend on the causeway, so I went for a walk on the dog beach. There were few people out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

After walking the dog beach, I moved to Oasis beach where there are swings and benches on the beach. I read my email and caught up on the headlines. 

Not a bad place to read the news.

I moved on to North Beach, parked my bike and walked a bit on the beach.

That's a cool yellow stripe going down the back of these birds' legs. Their feet are also yellow.

 

After my beach walk, I decided to walk the bike trail back to the park entrance.

 

I met up with John and we headed home for lunch. After lunch I did some yard work, helped a neighbor get her chain back on the sprockets, and did a few neighborhood walks.

 

I put down the lettuce, but John did all the fancy decorating. What a great dinner salad!
