Friday

We made it to the middle of the Dunedin Causeway this morning with Toby in tow. It was sunny and 75 degrees at 9:00. This trip in his trailer was more than twice as far as previous trips. He did great. He got a little antsy while we were waiting at the light at Bayshore and Curlew, but who doesn't? It can be a long wait, and he's used to getting out when we come to a full stop. But he settled down.

Toby likes to take a break whenever he gets the chance. John keeps saying that he thinks he's broken. We're not used to a calm and lazy dog. He still has his puppy moments though.

On the way to the causeway, we stopped at Stirling Park to let Toby out to walk around. This distance was about his usual.

He's getting better at getting into the trailer and settling.

After our morning walk, we put Toby in his crate and headed to the grocery store. Citrus fruits are coming in season again.

I love grocery day. We got some fresh raspberries to go with our oranges and mandarins.

After lunch, we took a walk in the neighborhood, but Toby preferred to bask in the sun and the newly mowed grass. Thanks Mas Fina.

We eventually coaxed him to go on the walk with us.

Before our causeway walk this morning, we took a walk around Lake Saundra at dawn. Peaceful and quiet.

Miles walked: 5
Miles biked: 7.40

  2. That was our plan.

Can’t believe so many people think his behavior is okay.

    Someone skipped their civics class.
