Tuesday

We took a walk around Lake Saundra after lunch. It was 75 degrees. The bird above is a wood stork.

The dog above is a hound mix, impersonating an alligator.

There's a little bit of fall coloring in the flowering tree near John's head above.

Fall colors in Florida. Native grass on Honeymoon Island. We rode out to the island this morning with Toby after our causeway walk.

It was 54 degrees on our early Dunedin Causeway walk. The wind was blowing at 11 mph, so we were all bundled up. Toby got to play with his Ridgeback friend Seamus, who is huge. Toby was a bit intimidated but he played with him anyway.

Low tide in the gulf.

We took a nap thinking it might be a late night.

Awaiting election news.

Late this afternoon we loaded Toby in his bike trailer and took him to Hammock Park. He got to ride a portion of the Pinellas Trail for the first time. I think he's starting to relax and enjoy it. He even lay down for a while. We hit the main trail of the park, walking beside the creek. It's heavily traveled so Toby got lots of scents to enjoy. He had his usual admirers.

Miles walked: 6.5
Miles biked: 3.52

  1. Sounds like a great day. I mowed the back yard, worked on my puzzle and rode my bike for 13 miles.
