We took Toby to the Mobbly Bayou Dog Park in Oldsmar this afternoon. He had a great time playing with these two dogs. They were not this clean when we left. We came straight home and gave him a bath.

This black dog had one white spot on the top of his head.
We walked down to the water while we were at the dog park. We didn't see any alligators, even though we were warned to beware.
John needed to put Toby in the crate while we went out to get John some new shoes. Notice the tea towel. We're learning that we have to cover Toby's belly before picking him up to put him in the crate.
Once he's wrapped up, he can be picked up for transport. Without this crucial step, there's nothing but water works--in all directions.
Transport to the crate.
And delivery.
Toby got up at 4:15 again today, ready to play. We got up, but I didn't like it. After a grumpy neighborhood walk and an even grumpier causeway walk, we all came home and went back to bed. We took another nap after lunch.
I hate wasting these beautiful 78 degree, sunny days being grumpy.
We are going to experiment with a different routine tomorrow.
Stay tuned . . .
Good news: the pvc pipe, fig branches, and miscellaneous detritus are gone!

Remind me about the pic pipe and other things mentioned. I say take turns getting up at the bingo sky hour of 4:15. Or coax Toby to go back to sleep.
ReplyDeleteThe pvc pipe used to be an arbor. Hideous. The other stuff was junk from the flower beds. Golf clubs. Pipes. Glass jars. Hoses. Bricks. Metal stakes. Things that people toss in their flower beds, apparently.
ReplyDeleteOh no—-4:15. Have you tried talking to him? This obviously has been a grumpy day for me too. I did go for a walk at the park with Dad this morning. I’ve missed several weeks of walking. The dogs at the park look more like Yoby’s size.
