This time we took Toby with us so he wouldn’t have to figure out how to open the door and start the car.
We sat out in the driveway to enjoy the warmth. It was 76 degrees and mostly sunny. Within minutes we got so sleepy that we came inside to nap. It never happened but it was a good thought.
While John continues to recuperate from his toe injury, I took a walk mid-morning. I took the Curlew bridge from our neighborhood, walked down Curlew, took the Pinellas Trail south, and then came back home via Palm Boulevard.
Then the three of us rode our bikes to Weaver Park.
Decorations directly on the Pinellas Trail
Early this morning we drove to Wall Springs Park for a walk with Toby.
Best park path in the county.
Tonight is our neighborhood’s night for Santa to come by on the fire truck, sirens blaring. Last night he was nearby, and it drove Toby bonkers. He whined and whined and roamed the house driving us both nearly insane. He was terrified.
So we turned up the music and built a fort (dog den) that we hope will comfort him tonight.
And there goes the fire truck with lighted golf carts following behind. This was in lieu of the annual Christmas parade.

It was warm here today and I rode my bike in WS. Loved being outdoors and seeing the Christmas decorations on my route.
ReplyDeleteBack at LKN tonight. Gail’s pain is escalating and I wasn’t able to get her comfortable. But she didn’t take the meds she was suppose to while I was gone.
Walter has an eye infection that Haa caused him to be lethargic. I have eye drops that I have given him for two rounds. The third tonight. Jeff is at the river winterizing his boat and he will take a sofa and ottoman to Stephanie tomorrow.
Sounds like a nice day. 👏👏We had a nice day too. We both walked the neighborhood and The Villas. Zoom with GStone class. Toby looked great on the white rug. Love to all.
