Toby makes his return to the Mobbly Bayou Dog Park in Oldsmar!
Apparently, today was "white dog with spots" day.
That middle dog is also 6 months old. Very cute.
Toby makes a run to the agility features.
And finds a treat.
And he's off to the next challenge.
He's supposed to go through these hoops, but he thought it was easier to just walk around them.
After the other dogs left, we practiced some commands with Toby. It was a good trip. No accidents or injuries. Just lots of dirt and slobber.
After we got home, John gave Toby a bath while I vacuumed and mopped the floor. We are all now squeaky clean.
The day started out about 65 degrees with a walk on the causeway with Toby. It was overcast. The temperature got up to 75 before a rain shower moved through around 2:00 p.m.
John took Toby out to the island during his afternoon puppy mania as a distraction while I prepared for my first doctor’s appointment tomorrow—lots of forms to fill out online. Impossible to do in the midst of puppy mania.
I was able to download my Duke records (99 pages in a PDF file) to share with my new doctor. I had forgotten much of what was in it.
I think this morning's trip to the dog park helped a little bit with his puppy outbursts. At least it was easier to bring him under control.
It stopped raining around 5:30. The temperature dropped to a chilly 69 degrees.
I'm planning on riding my bike to my appointment. The office is 4.6 miles away on the south side of downtown via the Pinellas Trail. I wish that I had scheduled a midday appointment instead of a 9:00 a.m. appointment. It's going to be a chilly ride at 60 degrees. Last winter when I was here between semesters, I rode my bike in a misty fog when it was 63 degrees. I made a note that that was my limit. I hope that the partly sunny forecast will make a cooler ride bearable.
Miles walked: 2.7
Miles biked: 0

I love the picture of Toby running in his first visit back to the dog park.
ReplyDeleteIt was a cold rainy day today and a slow slog to WS and back.
Gail had a better day today and I enjoyed being back in WS. Got a much needed haircut after my dermatology visit.
The equipment in the dog park is very nice. Does Toby like his baths? Good luck on your doctor’s appt tomorrow. The best word to describe our weather today would be RAW. We even had some snow flakes. Two neighbors sent photos of the snow flakes.
