Saturday

Toby's Flirt Pole came this afternoon. John briefly explained the rules to Toby, which he seemed to understand.

Chase the lure.

And catch it.

Chase.

Catch.

After about 10 minutes and one face plant, his poor little legs were quivering from all the exercise and excitement.

I'd call this new toy a success!  Thank you, Lyndsay! Much cheaper than a $5000 fence.

After dinner bone chewing.

Morning walk from our house to the Pinellas Trail. The temperature got up to 62 degrees, partly sunny.

I think we have the solution to afternoon puppy mania, now. The next trick is to teach him how to walk on a leash without pulling. When we first got him, he was perfect. He stayed right with us. But now, he lunges and pulls making walks most unpleasant. Any recommendations?

Our timing is not very good with the peak of the pandemic, but we decided this week to budget for take-out dinners. We are weary of cooking.

Last night, we went to New Bamboo, the Asian restaurant in the Causeway Plaza. We got our usual Home Style Bean Curd. As is usually the case, the take-out portions are large enough for two meals, so we're having leftovers tonight. Still, it's nice to not have to cook.

New Bamboo appears to take Covid very seriously. Their dining section is closed, and they have walled off the restaurant from the kitchen with air-tight plexiglass. There's a little pass through window (with an airlock) for exchanging money and food.

Miles walked: 7.6
Miles biked: 0

  1. I enlarged every frame tonight. Love the new toy. Recommendation on the lease pulling. Try no, stop each times and repeat NO in a parental voice. Repeat repeat repeat. Good luck.
