Wednesday

The day started off a bit cool at 57 degrees, eventually warming up to 69. But it was overcast all day.

I had to hunt to find any blue skies.

It was a good day for ferns. These are growing in Highlander Park behind the Dunedin Community Center.

We took Toby for a walk there this afternoon.

Toby missed John while he was getting his colonoscopy this morning. He refused to go on his walk until John came home. Toby is definitely a pack dog. He won't even go out in the mornings unless we are both with him. When he makes up his mind, there is no budging him.

We all made it through the colonoscopy. John had zero polyps! The whole thing was over in less than two hours. In the old days, they made the driver wait at the facility with the patient, but with the pandemic, I dropped him off at the door, and they sent me home. Then they called me to come pick him up. They brought him out to the car. The whole process went smoothly. It's amazing how we have all adapted. I wonder if some processes will stay instead of going back to the way we used to do things. As an introvert, I could get used to social distancing and doing more things online.

For example, ordering food online for pick-up is really easy. Some places let you pay online, too, which is even safer.

We are both looking forward to having a regular night's sleep and regular daytime activities tomorrow.
