Friday

This afternoon, John met a friend at Hammock Park, while I rode my bike to Weaver Park to exercise at the outdoor gym. John’s friend took the picture of Toby and sent it to his wife. (I think his friend was interested in the soft crate we use in the car, but loved Toby, too.)

John said Toby was very well behaved. Toby got down on the ground but didn’t have any luck greeting any dogs. They were either on a mission to poop or on a short leash for bad behavior.

This is the view of the Pinellas Trail from the outdoor gym. It was 63 degrees this afternoon, an unusually cool day.

Lunch: turkey and Swiss on toast with hummus. Fruit: cherries, blueberries, raspberries, oranges, mandarins, grapes, and peaches on a bed of peach yogurt.

John got a doctor’s note to get the vaccine, then got an appointment for Tuesday. As a result, we were a little late getting to the causeway to walk. It was 66 degrees with a 14 mph breeze. We wore windbreakers and long sleeves with our shorts. We took the car so we could go to the grocery store afterwards.

Toby had a busy day. We were home more than usual, but we managed to take a nap after lunch.

Sweet, sweet boy.

My bike route to the gym.

Miles walked: 10
