Even though the temperature was 63 degrees most of the day, there was very little sun. It felt like winter again.

This morning actually began warmer than it ended. For our causeway walk, the temperature was 65 degrees, though cloudy. The wind was blowing 16 mph, so we took the car instead of the bikes.
A family of three dolphin played in the channel.

I investigated the accent lighting in the living room. There are four 48 inch units in the living room and three in the kitchen, all mounted as the ones pictured above. I found a suitable replacement LED light for $33.99 from ACE Hardware. At least I won't have to look up to install them--that's the worst part of hanging light fixtures.
Toby was very patient today, especially considering our limited activities for him.
We had leftover chicken that John had cooked. I made some fresh rice and turnips. Easy meal.

I enjoyed the flowering bushes/trees/etc. Toby mirrows the background. 👏 Great photography! Do you like the new lighting? I have a kitchen light going on and off needs replacing. It was 27 degrees when I got up at 6:00am, but the sun was out all day. I trimmed winterized plants in the garage. Used the blower then scrubbed with a broom. Looks so much better. Walking with Dad in the morning. Yea!
ReplyDeleteI too love the flowering tropical plants. My fav is the bird of paradise.
ReplyDeleteExcited about your new lighting. I walked twice today because it was so nice. Total 5.5 miles
