We drove Toby downtown to get him some people exposure. We parked in the Douglass Street parking deck and walked south past Main to Albert and headed to the Dunedin Marina where we spotted these birds swinging on the mooring lines of the boats.
A fun perch for fishing.
Toby made it down to the shoreline, briefly.Toby sat and waited to greet two rambunctious puppies this morning.
I enjoyed my coffee this morning while Toby enjoyed a bone.
It was 48 degrees this morning, so we bundled up in our winter wear to walk Toby. Afterwards, it was too cold to walk on the causeway, so we went grocery shopping instead. We intended to head out to the causeway after shopping, but we walked in the neighborhood instead and had lunch and stuck close to home the rest of the day. Though mostly sunny, the high temperature was 68, putting a damper on outdoor activities. I know 68 sounds warm but with 10-11 mph winds, it's a bit chilly, especially on a bike. I guess that means that I've acclimated to Florida.

Very cold here all day. We went to CBarrel for breakfast. Other than that, we stayed in all day —did not venture out the remainder of the day. Enjoyed Toby photos.
ReplyDeleteIt was cold here too. I worked puzzles and read. Finally ventured out around 3 and walked 3.5 miles. Fixed a new chicken dish with pesto and roasted tomatoes.
