We enjoyed a beautiful day today, even though we weren't quite as active as yesterday. After lunch, I crashed and took an hour nap while John went out on an errand. We stuck pretty close to the house after lunch. The high temperature was 84 degrees, but that was brief. Most of the day, it was 82 with a 9-10 mph breeze to keep things cool.
On our morning causeway walk, it was 73-75 degrees, just about perfect.
I think these are needle fish.
There were lots of kayakers out today. I think the breeze was a little strong, but they seemed to be enjoying themselves.
This little fellow kept disappearing beneath the water when I tried to get his picture.
Today’s bike route to the causeway and Publix
Miles walked: 8.9
Miles biked: 5.40

Your lillies are beautiful. Very scenic photos. Thanks for your blog. Love you.
ReplyDeleteI came home today. Eating dinner on my back porch. During the pandemic, I became a member of Reynolda Gardens. I get the benefit of free admission to all the art shows, early pre plant sale and zoom meetings about all kinds of landscape plant experts. Today I picked up 22 of the coolest plants. I got all but 7 planted, mowed and am no watering. Good to be home.
