I got this awesome picture at the community center today where we took Toby for a late afternoon walk. It was 90 degrees, but the wind was blowing 12 mph, so it didn’t feel hot.
We tried to stay in the shade as much as possible.
Toby found his favorite spot to roll around and rest.
I caught this great white egret mid flight.
After lunch, I rode my bike to the outdoor gym at Weaver Park, while John looked after Toby.
Such a beautiful place. Where else can you watch a sailboat go by while you rest between reps?
Our causeway walk was nice, 75 degrees with a modest breeze.
The bike ride out and back is my favorite part. It’s analogous to the commute while walking is our job.
John fixed crockpot chicken with marinara sauce over rice with green beans.
I raked leaves, did some house cleaning, and cut my hair. Toby took a nap on my lap while I worked on this blog entry.
