We got a buy one get one for a dollar burger at the Dunedin Golf Club tonight for dinner. We picked it up just before the rain moved in. It’s the second time it’s rained today.
John went to the dentist this morning so we skipped our causeway walk and rode our bikes to Publix and walked the Pinellas Trail to the pedestrian bridge at the northern end of the city.
Between the trail and Bayshore Boulevard, there’s an old county road, pictured above. It’s made up of bricks and covered with asphalt, lined with pine trees. It makes for a scenic walk in the shade.
We stopped on the bridge to look out to the sound and the Dunedin Youth Guild Park below.
We saw this unusual flower blooming this morning on Toby’s walk.
Much needed rain.
Toby curled up with me to wait it out.
