We rode our bikes out to the causeway for a sunset ride.
The heat had finally broken and the breezes were refreshing.
I’m glad we headed out. A day without the causeway or island is just a regular day.
Yours truly heading for a narrow path.
We hung the orange grove painting in the room off the kitchen that we’re using as a den/office.
Toby set his sights on his buddy Finn this morning on his walk.
Finn is like a teddy bear. He always enjoys playing with Toby.
Toby still has way more energy than the mature Finn.
The egret has a new hat and shades.
Before lunch, we put Toby in his crate for a nap and rode our bikes through downtown and on to Stevenson Creek. We skipped our walk this morning, so it was good to get outside. It was about 90 degrees with a 10 mph breeze. It was tough getting up Palm because of the wind and elevation.
We had hopes for rain today, but didn’t get much more than I can spit.
We took Toby to the community center to walk this afternoon; it was too hot to walk on the neighborhood streets.
We got Chinese takeout for dinner.
We are exploring getting a new iMac, so I spent the afternoon adding important documents to iCloud. Our photos are backed up there already. It was a good exercise because our current iMac is set up for Durham Tech. There are lots of things we no longer need. (I need to delete apps on my phone, too.)
I’m also transitioning our financial records from Google Sheets to Apple Numbers. Since we already have iCloud, I can store everything in one place. It’s intellectually stimulating to learn a different way to do things. I’m having fun learning numbers and converting old spreadsheets.
Apple will pay us $160 for our 2013 iMac, so I need to remove things we need before we hand it over. (They give you your hard drive back for security reasons.)

Interesting but you are so much ahead of us with technology. Jeff and I went to visit friends in the mountains this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI agreed to work market at A&B hime Mon Tues and Wed. I don’t know what got into me.
Love your orange painting but you must sign and date it. I’m just blown away with your technical savvy. It sounds like a nightmare to me. Toby is very sweet. You and John have beautiful tans.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to the A and B news. Did you get into Matt’s parking lot? Tell everyone at market hello. Love to all. I’m preparing Pam’s latest chicken dish with veggies for dinner.
