“Love wins” gay pride flag in our next door neighbors’ yard. We are so lucky to have such supportive neighbors.
I read that the county has already collected over 66 tons of dead fish from the beaches, as of yesterday, with more washing up since. Thus, we opted to ride our bikes downtown and walk the Pinellas Trail. We started at Main Street and walked south to Union Street, the city limit, and back. Then we rode to Publix to get a few items. Publix is located just inside the northern city boundary.

This is a frangipani bloom we passed this morning while we were walking Toby. They smell like gardenias.
We had back-to-back dermatologist appointments this afternoon in Palm Harbor. It’s the first time we had to leave the city limits for health care, but it was only 6 miles away. We had to cross several busy roads, so we had to drive. We try to avoid going east away from the water. Dunedin is about 2 miles wide, surrounded by Clearwater to the east and south and Palm Harbor to the north.
We both had full body scans. John had 6 warts frozen, and I had 4 pre-cancerous places on my scalp frozen. Other than that, the doctor said we were fine, just keep using spf and reapplying it every two hours when out in the sun. He said my places were from sun exposure long ago.
We rewarded ourselves with a Jet’s pizza. We ate the whole thing. Deep dish, Detroit-style (burnt around the edges). Not healthy, but very delicious. After riding our bikes over 50 miles in two days, John said it couldn’t do too much harm.
