Saturday

I rode my bike down to the Victoria Condos to see Mom and Dad after dinner. It was nice to be able to drop in for a visit. I caught this sunset on the way home.

We had Home Style Bean Curd for dinner from our favorite Chinese takeout.

Our frangipani are blooming.

I enjoyed my newly serviced bike today. I’m especially happy to be free of neck and shoulder pain when I ride. My stretching and weight training work are the reasons. (And not having to grade papers!!)

Mom and Dad got their car washed this morning and then met us downtown on the Pinellas Trail. John and I rode our bikes down there and walked south to Clearwater and back and met them on Main Street.

Mom and Dad spent most of the day shopping. They discovered the mall that we have only stepped foot in to get our cable router. Supposedly, the mall has an ice skating rink in it.

They are successfully navigating Dunedin and surrounding Clearwater areas. They even made it to the new Golf Club Pro Shop. Dad got a hat. We’ve been meaning to take a look but haven’t gotten around to it yet.

We took in the street fair and a downtown bookstore.

Mom and Dad brought their lunch to our house and we ate together. Toby was annoying and spent some time in puppy prison. They kept saying how BIG he was.

In pictures, he’s usually curled up and being sweet. In reality and with company, he can be a bit boisterous. He has to bring guests all of his toys to show them and drop in their laps.

Our only defense is that he’s a pandemic dog and no one has been in our house during his life, so he’s very excited. All he wants to do is play.

Today’s bike routes to downtown and Victoria Condos

Miles walked: 6.3
Miles biked: 12.59
