Mom went to Zumba class at the Hale Center and Dad went to the library across the street to read. Then they walked on the Pinellas Trail. They headed out shopping for Dad’s sneakers and found some at Sketchers.
We joined them at the pool mid afternoon.
Pools are very relaxing, both while you are in them and later, even through bedtime. I’m beginning to see why they are so popular.
We have this late blooming hydrangea that’s putting on a show under our stag horn fern.
Great fruit and veggie bowl: peach and strawberry yogurt, broccoli, beets, red grapes, melon, cottage cheese, and blueberries.
Turkey and Swiss sandwich for protein.
We walked Toby and then walked the causeway. It was mostly cloudy with light wind (about 6 mph).
We had dinner with Mom and Dad at Clear Sky Draught House. We chose to eat outside because the restaurant was loud and packed. The outside environment was attractive and quiet, but blazing hot. The thermometer said 89 degrees but it felt like 96.
Mom and Dad were good sports. The later it got, the lower the sun got and the more direct it was on us. Thankfully, once our food arrived we had a distraction.
We learned at dinner that Dad had second thoughts about the sketchers he bought, so it’s back to shoe shopping tomorrow!
The native sea grapes are bearing fruit.
Our bird of paradise is full of blooms.
Today’s bike routes to the causeway and Victoria Condos
Miles walked: 8.8
Miles biked: 11.23

All I can say is OH NO! Love your flowers and mom looks good sitting around the pool.
ReplyDeleteAnother great day. John, thank you for reminding me not to wear the napkin on my back out of the restaurant. Tee hee Great dinner. Nice getting together.
