This afternoon, Toby made it to Salty Paws, Florida’s first doggie ice cream store in downtown Dunedin alongside the Pinellas Trail.

The experience was a bit overwhelming for him.

There were so many yummy things to look at and sniff.

Free treats!

Then the paid-for treat!

Yum yum.

I think Toby would like to return.

We walked down to the marina, stopping at the old train station for a picture. Toby got scared of the stuffed bear the little girl is holding in the second statue.

He also was scared of the Buddha statue alongside one of the boats.

It was a beautiful day, 91 degrees and actually sprinkling when I took the picture above. Just a passing shower.

Thursday, I drove with Mom and Dad back to North Carolina and cleared out our remaining belongings from their house. The pandemic had long delayed the retrieval of our things, so it was good to get all our things under one roof here in Florida. In March of 2020, I thought I was coming to Florida for a week, but ended up staying for good because of the pandemic shutdown and retired 6 months later. That was one heck of a spring break! Just one last table to get on our next trip. 

We are back to our usual sandwiches.

And our usual fruit and veggie bowls. This one had cantaloupe, peach yogurt, red grapes, broccoli, beets, cherries, cottage cheese, and blueberries.

We played fetched with Toby in the backyard.

We did some house cleaning and yard pick up. I wanted to go to the gym, but John thought I should rest one more day, so we headed to get doggie ice cream. 🐶 

We had Chinese takeout for dinner.

We got sprinkled on for the third time today on our last Toby walk, but this one came with a huge rainbow 🌈.
