After walking Toby, we rode our bikes out to the causeway to walk. The breeze was light, so it made for a hot walk.
We went to Bealls’s Outlet after lunch and picked up a few shirts to replace some that we retired. We got Toby some toys. This one is a little rainbow stuffed with sheep. It’s a mental exercise for him to figure out how to get the sheep out.
Cool toy.
John also played “hide the toy” with him. Toby figured out pretty quickly how the game worked.
We continue practicing his commands, but we’ve noticed the more effort we put into it, the worse he gets in other behaviors. Things that he used to be good at (walking, settling while we eat, settling on the sofa), now he isn’t. My gut tells me this is progress, it just doesn’t look like it or feel like it.
It’s frustrating, but we’ve only been at it for four days.
Finally settled!

They are unicorns…not sheep. 🦄
