Toby is waiting to play with his unicorn house.
Here he comes.
He’s getting faster and faster at getting them out and letting you put them back in to play again.
This morning, we walked Toby and then rode our bikes out to the causeway to walk.
I went to the gym at Weaver Park after lunch.
We took Toby to the community center in the late afternoon.
Pretty clouds today.
Today’s bike routes to the causeway and Weaver Park
We saw progress with Toby today. He’s doing great with his week one skills: sit, eye contact, touching your hand with his nose. We are slowly extinguishing his bad behaviors: jumping on us, stealing things, pinching, paws on the counter, bullying us to play, etc.
He has so much energy, and he wants you to play with him. It’s exhausting. Walks don’t quite do it; he needs to run. Now I understand why foster organizations discourage seniors from adopting a puppy. But at least we have time, right?
Miles walked: 9.3
Miles biked: 11.62

Didn’t know that about foster organizations. We are dealing with an senior dog who can’t see or hear and is having accidents in the house. Jeff stepped in poop this morning and I laughed u til I got pay back while vacuuming. I kept smelling poop. Thinking that I had vacuumed some dry poop and that was what I was smelling. Got to my zebra rug and saw a pile of orange poop and while I was cleaning it up, notice that my tire tread walking shoes was full of doggy poop. Oh dear Lord.
ReplyDeleteAnd I was wondering if Dad needed a dog. Thanks for telling me we don’t need a dog. Tee hee. I do know they do bring pleasure.
