This morning’s causeway walk was mostly sunny and warm, about 84 degrees with a 7 mph breeze.
It’s 3:30 pm in the picture above. He’s fast asleep. We must be doing something right. He’s usually a handful this time of the day.
He’s had two naps in his crate while we were away, once for this morning’s causeway walk and once for the trip to the gym.
Playing quietly at 3:50. He’s usually bonkers about now, expecting to be fed at 4:00. We’ve been feeding him on his walks, so his meals are spread out.
I took him out to pee after he whined at me. He peed and laid down in the yard while I picked up leaves. Then it was time for some mental stimulation.
A little after 4:00, he had most of his dinner delivered via his brain game.
Ten minutes later, he had found all his kibble.
After successfully solving the challenges, he crawled up on the sofa. That lasted about 10 minutes. He got a bit fussy so we loaded him in the car to take a walk at the community center before picking up our takeout food from Juan’s.
The community center always looks great and there’s lots of shade.
Best sidewalk in Dunedin
It was 91 degrees around 5:00 pm, but the shade and 7 mph breeze made it tolerable.
Toby was good during dinner and is now relaxed on the floor. Not a bad day for him at all.
Today’s bike routes to the causeway and Weaver Park
Miles walked: 9.5
Miles biked: 10.68

I am so proud of Toby. 👏👏I am so happy for you and John. 👏👏
