We finished the mulch in the second front bed this afternoon.
Just in time for the 5:30 thunderstorm. John moved the fern in the pedestal pot from the magnolia tree bed to this bed. It’s being evaluated.
After our morning Toby walk, we rode our bikes to the causeway to walk. When we got home, I drove to Ace to get more mulch while John stayed with Toby and tidied up the beds in preparation.
After lunch, I went to the outdoor gym at Weaver Park to exercise.
We took Toby to the community center a bit early, knowing that thunderstorms were on the way. He got freaked out about something, maybe a chain saw or a huge pile of branches? Anyway, he turned and rushed in the opposite direction, inconsolably.
We worked with Toby again off and on all day: walking, fetching, brain games, and training. He’s doing much better. I’ve even caught him eyeing things to steal (socks, dish towels, shoes) but walking away to play with his toys. Maybe someday soon we can put our rugs and toilet paper back where they belong.

The fern looks great in a larger space. It is very pretty. Yeah Toby. Your mulch looks great.
ReplyDeleteLove love your yard and new plants. I put down 6 bags of mulch yesterday and probably need at least 6 more.
