Toby was driving us crazy after dinner. He was counter surfing everywhere to get anything to play with. He even snagged his training book and started eating it. How humiliating!
He missed his afternoon nap, so I guess that’s why he couldn’t let up.
So we decided to put him in his crate and ride out to the island to see the sunset. Toby did a submissive pee pee on me on the way to the crate. I told John just get him in the crate and we can clean up when we get back.
By the time we got to the island I was not so mad.

For Toby’s dinner, I put a cereal box inside a cereal box to increase the level of difficulty. And then I combined the cereal boxes with his store bought brain game.
He chose to start with the cereal boxes.
He was able to efficiently deconstruct them to find his treats.
Then he quickly moved on to his other brain game. The entire exercise took about ten minutes. Before dinner, we practiced commands, played tug of war, and hide and seek.
We had to forego fetching in the back yard because of yesterday’s rain and this morning’s. The yard feels like a giant sponge.

Looks like you and John eat lots of cereal. Tee hee. Toby is learning. Don’t give up.
