Today was overcast and very cold. The high this afternoon was 63 degrees, and the wind was blowing over 10 mph. Nevertheless, we bundled up and rode our bikes over to the Fine Art Center to take in Art Harvest. There were artists from around the state showcasing their work.
This morning we skipped the causeway because of the wind and cold and instead walked to Hammock Park. Toby seemed to enjoy new things to smell.
One day I'll have all the trails in Hammock Park memorized. For now, I still have to refer to the map.
We passed the wood stork house on the way home.
We took an after lunch walk. There was a neighborhood-wide yard sale this morning. Cars everywhere, and with no sidewalks, it made walking dicey--another reason to stay inside today.
Toby and I enjoyed snuggle time this morning.
Bike route to the Fine Art Center
The forecast has the temperatures heading back into the 70s. Yesterday and today have been tough.
We had egg foo yung with hot and sour soup for dinner.
Miles walked: 5.4
Miles biked: 2.57
Very windy here too. Great photos of each family member. Love the snuggle photos. Grocery shopped today. Ugh for Saturday shopping. Won’t do that again.
ReplyDeleteMet mom and A&B seed Market in Colfax for ax exchange of pillows that need help. Did a little shopping. Good to be with her for a short time. Met friends in Kernersville last night for a Thai dinner. Bill and Becca head for Key West on Monday. We are going to miss them. She gave Cameron all of her sculpting supplies and potters wheel. Jeff is delivering tonight and has a job in Roanoke tomorrow. Busy week for us. Have a supper club couple staying with us this coming Saturday night and a visit to Salem Va for Unika’s state track meet.
