A great white egret from our morning walk. The day began in the mid-50s, eventually warming to the mid-70s.
Last year, the city contracted an artist to paint the water tower on the corner of Bayshore and Curlew. It will be painted to look like a turtle egg with a newly hatched turtle crawling out of it. So we saw these men rappelling down the tower, getting ready to paint, maybe?
On our morning causeway walk, we got caught at the drawbridge. But that gave us a chance to stop walking and look around.
Toby got to play fetch in the backyard and then take a shower with me. He got his dinner in his Kong toy. He’s gotten much better at nudging it so that it will dispense kibble instead of trying to destroy it.
Christmas lights in the neighborhood
More Netflix tonight. Season 3 of “Sex Education” is almost over, but there will be a season 4 soon.

I’m watching Annie, Dad is watching a ball game. Good for Toby learning to nudge for food. More improvements. Dad worked a little more on the lesson he will teach in a couple of weeks. You have made his editing/revising so manageable. Enjoyed the lights at the house you sent. Lights and Christmas seem to go together. Tomorrow night is supper club at Ted and Mary Martha’s house.
