Monday

I took advantage of the great weather to power wash the front of the house. The forecast is calling for a cooling trend, with temperatures in the 60s for the next 10 days.

It seems to need it about three times a year. That way, I don’t have to scrub or use chemicals except for a few places. Water pressure alone does most of the work.

The key is not to make it perfect because you know you’ll be right back out here doing the same thing again in about four months. I spent less than an hour on the project.

Toby got to go to daycare today. He was so excited.

He played with two energetic boxer puppies, according to the pickup report. He kept his four feet on the ground during drop off and pick up, mostly.

We dropped Toby off and headed to the causeway to walk. It was 68 degrees when we started at 9:00. There was no breeze, so the sound resembled a lake.

John got these bird pictures on our walk. Great Blue Heron

We took Toby on a shorter walk before daycare this morning, trying to get him there as close to 8:30 as possible so that he doesn’t have to be there so much during nap time. (He can nap for free at home!)

It was 64 degrees at 8:00.

In the afternoon, we put Toby in the crate and rode our bikes down the Pinellas Trail through downtown Dunedin, past Stevenson Creek, and to the edge of downtown Clearwater.

We saw some interesting flower puffs.

It was 73 degrees but the wind was blowing 11 mph.

“Some people feel the rain; others just get wet.”

I see a second story rising up.

We capped off a good day with a Jet’s Pizza, the first since November. We ate the whole thing!

Miles walked: 10.8
Miles biked: 12
