John got this shot on our after lunch walk around Lake Saundra. This is the butterfly garden.
John and Toby had a visitor while I was at the gym.
A tough workplace, but I prefer it over Durham Tech
This morning’s walk was about perfect. Sunny and mid 60s to 70 degrees when we finished. We rode our bikes to the drawbridge and walked from there.
We took a late afternoon walk around Highlander Park and the community center. We rode the golf cart and enjoyed the breeze. The high temperature was 83, but the humidity was low, so it felt great. I hope this weather lasts a few more weeks so my family can enjoy it when they visit.
We practiced some commands.
We drove to Juan’s to get a spicy burrito. Toby seems to be enjoying riding and looking where he’s going instead of where he’s been. He’s pretty calm. Oh, I got this selfie while parked at Juan’s, not driving just in case you were wondering.
Toby and I sat out on the front lawn to watch the sunset.
I couldn’t get us both in the same selfie. But it was nice sitting in the grass with him as people and dogs walked by.
Today’s bike routes to the causeway and Weaver Park.
Miles walked: 10.1
Miles biked: 11.30
