Friday

It was another hot morning, no clouds, and very little breeze. After our morning Toby walk, we rode our bikes downtown so that we could walk on the Pinellas Trail in the shade. We walked from Main Street where we left our bikes to Cedar Creek at Hammock Park where we found this beautiful Roseate Spoonbill fishing in the tidal pond.

John got this picture of a Great White Egret from our earlier neighborhood walk.

Cedar Creek flowing out of Hammock Park into St. Joseph Sound. John took the picture from the Pinellas Trail bridge looking west at the Alt. 19 bridge.

We played fetch for a few minutes in the backyard. Mas Fina came this morning to mow. It's really nice to have the whole yard done in under 10 minutes--by someone else!

I delivered bags of avocados to some neighbors.

We took a nap after lunch. I stayed up late last night to watch the Jan. 6 hearing on CNN streaming. I try not to nap, but this afternoon I couldn't stay conscious. John took this picture of me walking out with our takeout from New Bamboo: Hunan Chicken.

Toby is keeping a look out for me.

On the way home, he preferred to look out the back window.

We ended the day with a thunderstorm.
