Instead of walking the causeway this morning, we rode our bikes to Publix to pick up some fresh fruit.
We had a garage door issue that forced us to change our usual routine. We had to get back to the house for the Genie Garage Door repairman. The spring on the right broke.
The repairman came late morning and replaced both springs. We feel lucky to even have a garage, so no complaints from us. It is so awesome to have a place to store all our toys out of the elements.
So we had lunch after the repairman left, walked Toby again, and then rode our bikes out to the causeway to have our walk in the afternoon instead of the morning. We got sprinkled on as we made it out of the neighborhood, if you can believe it after looking at this cloudless sky in the west.
It was blazing hot, 85-87 degrees with a 7 mph breeze. We made it by standing under the outdoor shower at the halfway point.
It was beautiful though.
The oleander blooms were especially pretty with the blue background.
We took Toby in his go cart to Highlander Park for his late afternoon walk in the shade.
What a great spot to laze about.
We took the shell path, the scenic route, home.

I helped organize the children’s ministry cabinet this morning. Got a much needed haircut, took a tennis lesson, went to the gym, joined our street Tuesday gathering in the cul de sac, fixed talapia, jasmine rice and collards. Just about ready to go nite nite My poison ivy is better.
