We passed a pumpkin sale on the way home from Highlander park after lunch. We took Toby in his go cart for a walk.
That’s a lot of pumpkins!

Toby enjoyed his cart ride as usual.
This huge yawn shows his excitement!
After we took Toby for a walk, John and I rode our bikes down to Stevenson Creek. It was 81 degrees, but the humidity was only 46%. It was almost cool in the shaded parts.
Pinellas Trail
John dropped me off at the outdoor gym at Weaver park so I could exercise. I did stretching and light weight lifting.
Gorgeous day!
We saw two groups of four stingrays swimming under the tidal bridge on our morning causeway walk.
It was 72 degrees when we began our walk, and only a 2 mph breeze.
Needle fish
Everyone feels guilty about the beautiful weather, after dodging one of the worst hurricanes to ever hit the U.S. The summer heat has been broken, at least for now.
Toby is still on Benadryl twice a day. He gets a couple of bumps and then they disappear. He’s getting his medicated shampoo once a week which seems to help. His annual checkup is Monday.
Last walk of the day

Today’s bike routes to the causeway, Weaver Park, and Stevenson Creek
Miles walked: 9.5
Miles biked: 15.41

Toby’s expressions ….. priceless. So glad your weather is so great. Impressed with you identifying the needle fish. How did you know that??? We had a great time with Pam and Jeff in Oriental. They were most accommodating. Oriental is a neat place.
ReplyDeleteI accidentally grew pumpkins white yellow and orange. They are all on my bench in the backyard with a mum in a really cool planter that mom gave me.
ReplyDeleteI remember carving a jack o lantern from a pumpkin. When I tried to carve his teeth the all fell out.
