Sunday

I pressure washed the front of the house and the windows all around.

We had accumulated lots of dead bugs, spider webs, and a dusty film. House maintenance is a lot of work!

I rewarded myself with takeout from New Bamboo.

The weather couldn’t have been any better. The high temperature was 78 degrees.

I’ve done this chore enough that I’ve got it down, but I think next time I’ll make it a two day project.

There’s lots of glass on the backside.

John kept things going inside making homemade vegetable soup, doing laundry, and looking after Toby.

This morning, we drove Toby to the causeway for a sunrise walk.

It was 60 degrees and beautiful.

I like the way the sky lights up in the west as the sun rises. It’s a more subtle version of what’s going on in the east.

Pastels

The eastern view was nice, too, of course.

More vibrant colors

We took Toby home and felt like he’d be tired enough to nap while we rode our bikes out to the causeway for our own walk. We were right, no biting.

The temperature had warmed up to 63, which is chilly on a bike, but perfect for a walk.

Egg foo yung and vegetable low mein, a hearty meal

Last walk of the day

Toby got his medicated shampoo tonight.

He’s a little blotchy but the bumps are subdued. John got this brilliant idea to freeze peanut butter on Toby’s licky pad and put it on the shower wall (suction cups on the back). That occupied him for the full ten-minute treatment. Toby should look better tomorrow.

Miles walked: 11
Miles biked: 4.92
