The forecast said 10% chance of rain today, and it rained! The temperature stayed in the sweet spot: 72-82 degrees.
We rode our bikes to the causeway and walked before the rain.
The clouds kept the temperature down.
After lunch, we went to Toby’s first Brain Games training at Petsmart. It was really hard. It required a lot of patience. We got scolded for cheating several times when the goal is for Toby to figure out the solution himself. We kept giving him hints and trying to help. Everyone got frustrated: Toby, us, and the trainer.
Eventually, he’ll learn the colors blue and yellow (dogs can see these colors), written words, how to communicate by pawing a desk bell, and many other things.
Toby did come home extremely tired. In fact, he fell asleep in the car on the way home. Luckily, we were able to stay awake. We got a Wawa turkey sub on the way home.
He’s got some bumps but they are mostly small. He got a medicated shampoo tonight.
We got a coupon for Toby to have a DNA test. We’ll finally get to solve the riddle of what breed(s) he is, which may give us insight into behavior and medical issues.
