We rode our bike out to the causeway this morning to walk. There was a once a month gathering of jet skiers, the most I've ever seen.
As we crossed the bridge, they were gathering at the launching area.
The rest of the causeway was normal.
After lunch, we went to a house warming a few streets away. Our old neighbors who were renting, two houses down, bought a house within the neighborhood and invited us, along with dozens of others. Their new house is awesome. It's almost 3,000 square feet, 3 bedrooms/3 baths, with an indoor laundry and walk-in pantry. They had tents set up outside, fresh oysters, lots of food and sweets.
Afterwards, we took Toby to the shell path in Highlander Park for a walk. The arts and crafts festival was still going on in the main area.
We walked around the baseball fields. It was 83 degrees and mostly sunny.
After our Toby walk, I rode my bike to Clearwater and back. I stopped at the Stevenson Creek bridge to look for manatees. I didn't see any today.
After the creek, I turned west and headed to Edgewater Drive to ride along the waterfront.
It looked like the sailing club from the Dunedin marina were out sailing.
Our morning walk was 70 degrees.
It's nice to be able to wear shorts and t's all day long. Those days are going to be over soon as we head into winter. We'll have to wear long sleeves in the mornings and evenings, and occasionally, long sleeves all day long with a jacket in the mornings and evenings.
Toby, waiting patiently for a walk.
Last walk of the day, a cool 81 degrees.
Today's bike routes to the causeway and Clearwater, with a diversion along Edgewater Drive and Victoria Drive
Miles walked: 9.7
Miles biked: 17.10

An exciting blog. Loved it ALL. Thanks for sharing the day.
