It finally got over 50 degrees today, but our morning walk was still in the mid-30s. We all bundled up with the hope that this would be the last of the cold spell.
We’ve spent the last three days hunkered down inside reading and watching movies. Third day in long johns—all day.
We finished The Recruit on Netflix. It’s about a 24-year old lawyer working for the CIA who is overly ambitious and gets caught up in situations that are way over his head. But he has a good heart and he’s quick on his feet. The season ended on a cliffhanger.
After that ran out, we started watching season three of Emily in Paris, which critics hate for its vapidity, but we like for its scenes of Paris, culture, and fashion. Does that make us vapid too? Anyway, it’s light TV viewing before bedtime.

ReplyDeleteCrazy day here. Best part was going to the gym. Had difficulty getting McAfee hooked up with our phones and computer. What security business do you use or is one necessary? Our problem was getting hooked up with iPhones and computer. Ended up just canceling our subscription after 4 hours. I love Toby’s winter apparel. Love to all. Mom
