Our new sea grass furniture arrived just before lunch.
We were right about the number of pieces. The room is full.
It came via FedEx freight on its own pallet.
We had fun unwrapping everything.
Nothing was damaged in transit, which was a relief.
The city will pick up the pallet next Tuesday.
The lamp is from Pam. I think it looks great on the iron table that we found on the side of the road.

The chair and ottoman are super comfy. And we can also use the ottoman with the loveseat. John got the ottoman cushion to sit down inside the frame like it’s supposed to. And, yes, we removed the tag.
The table came with a glass top. I hadn’t unwrapped it when I took the picture above.
Next, we’re measuring for a rug. We might try the rug in Pam’s room for size.
A cosy night time nook. (There’s the glass top on the side table.)
After setting up the furniture and disposing of packing materials, I rode my bike to the gym to exercise. It was 77 degrees with mostly sunny skies.
There were about 6 men my age working out. All the talk was about the weather. Talk was that this will be the last beautiful day for a while. One guy said water freezes in Florida at 70 degrees. We all laughed. We know we are spoiled. Rain is also on the way. Boo! Lows will be in the 50s and highs in the mid 60s. One night will get down to 43 degrees!
To meet our delivery window, we drove to the causeway to walk to save time.
The temperature was in the mid-60s around 9:00 am.
But the breeze was blowing 10-11 mph, making it a challenge to walk.
Last walk of the day under the prettiest clouds
Toby’s enjoying his new sofa while I complete this blog.
Miles walked: 12.2
Miles biked: 5.43

Love love the new furniture.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful furniture. I love it. A great job in selections. I know that was an exciting unpacking. Other than the gym this morning I had a day at home and got so much done. We had a very cold day and I think more cold and rain might be coming. Boo Hoo. Love to all.
ReplyDeleteAnd you can’t even see the air conditioner.
