Sunday

It was another foggy walk on the causeway this afternoon. The fog rolled in off the water.

A few minutes later it was clear around us while the fog lingered on the periphery.

Walking towards the fog

Fog occluding the horizon.

John took this picture at a moment of clarity.

You can barely see the condominiums in the distance from the drawbridge.

On the way back, the skies had cleared somewhat.

Clear above, fog below.

After our causeway walk, we drove out to Honeymoon Island to see what the fog looked like out there.

The whole day has been like this: rolling fog followed by partly cloudy skies and sun. It was 76 degrees, so at least we were in shorts and T s.

Miles walked: 10.6
Miles biked: 0

Our day has also been foggy but we are feeling better about Mikey. Our friends took Maggie for a visit and he seemed to be doing well.

  2. We had lots of fog too. It seemed to roll in from the ocean. Going over the bridge at Morehead visibility was very foggy on the water.
Friday I started an unproductive cough and a little runny nose. Tested positive with Covid when I got home today. We will test Dad in the morning just to be sure even though he doesn’t have any symptoms. I will check with my doctor first thing in the morning re the pill now available to lessen the symptoms. Also will call Dad’s doctor for advice re his injection for pain scheduled for Wednesday. We both tested negative Thursday morning before we left for EI. I have alerted the Hutchins and Young’s. Stay tuned.
