We saw these spectacular chandeliers on our last walk of the day. John’s pictures can’t quite capture their twinkling beauty.
It was 61 degrees on our last walk, but we were still in shorts (and a jacket).
The moon shining through the early evening haze.
In the other direction, the setting sun is scattering pink among the clouds.
Before dinner walk
We have worked with Toby on his commands and helping him to stay calm inside the house when dogs and people walk by. Tomorrow is Petsmart training day, which I am dreading. We never know how he’s going to do. We’re taking our sliced hot dogs, though.
A cold front moved through this morning. On our first Toby walk in the neighborhood, it was 71 degrees, but a few hours later temperatures were in the mid 60s. By the time we walked Toby before dinner, it was 63. So, I spent a good portion of the day in the sunroom reading.
I also crossed an item off my “to do” list. I set my bike up on my trainer and took pictures, and then I listed it (the trainer, not the bike) in the Next Door neighborhood app for sale. If I don’t get any takers, I’ll try to unload it at the March yard sale.
Provost Ed Wilson of Wake Forest turned 100 this month. He taught British Romantic Poetry to me 40 years ago when he was the age that I am now.
I ordered our free COVID tests from the government, and they are due to arrive Monday.
John fixed beans and rice tonight for dinner.

Your “to do list” sounds like mine. I’m down to 2 items. Hope the weather clears up soon or I might not have a to do list. Tee hee. Went to the gym this morning, and ran errands working on the list. A very windy day here. Good luck tomorrow with Toby’s training. Love you all.
