Monday

The temperature is slowly warming up from yesterday. The high today was 65 degrees. But the 9 mph breeze made it feel cooler than that.

After lunch, we took Toby in the golf cart to Highlander Park for a walk. We came back to walk some more via car on the way to pick up our takeout order at Con Sabor.

This morning, we took him the Stirling Park.

John got these shots of a raccoon squirrel.

Cold walk

Our trainer sent us these pictures of Toby’s last class Saturday. Everyone is in a down stay for 3 minutes at the front of the store with people and dogs coming and going.

Toby’s graduation picture. Our trainer has invited him to a tricks class, which we accepted. We’re not sure what that is exactly, but it will keep us focused on developing Toby’s brain and shaping his behavior.

Last walk of the day

Miles walked: 5.5

  1. Always love John’s photos.

We are pooped. After cleaning out Mikes house, we brought things home to take to Snob Shop, goodwill and some things to Steph and Cam. I spent the day organizing the loot to go away. I even replaced some of my stuff with better stuff from Gail’s. The most exciting thing is that I found really cool dishes marked for Stephanie from Shirley. They are contemporary plates with a single pink tulip and silver ring around the outside. Everything is rages in our basement for the kids to retrieve.

  2. At least we had no rain today but still cold. I did manage to blow out the garage floor and gave it a good mopping. I learned mopping garage floor from Perry.

Dad is packed, ready, and suitcase by the door. A funny day watching him.

Tomorrow is that eye specialist appointment. 8:30 in Burlington. Ug!

I did a load of laundry today. Trying to keep that up to date.

    Excitement is in the air.

    Love to all.
