Since it was cold today, I worked on an inside project. My goal is to dispose of one box each week until the garage is back to normal. I’m already one week ahead! This week my goal was to get the bird plates out and on their way. I contacted Replacements, Ltd. via their website. There is a button to click if you want to sell to them. I simply told them the pattern and they emailed within minutes a pricing list for every piece in the collection. I checked the appropriate boxes and totaled up the amount. I washed everything and repacked the box, then taped the packing list to the box.
Tomorrow we’ll go to the post office and mail the box. We used the stuffing from Toby’s destroyed toys for padding, plus I already had the foam sleeves from when I packed the box in 2017 at Blue Bottle. Six years of just sitting in a box. It makes me happy that a gay-owned company (Wake Forest graduate) will sell them to someone who will use them.
It was very cold on our morning walk, in the mid 50s.
The high today was 60 degrees, but the wind was blowing at 12 mph. It felt very much like winter.
John took this picture yesterday on one of our Highlander Park walks with Toby.
This picture is from yesterday’s walk.
Today, we had to layer up.
Toby is back to normal. He got a shower and his heart worm and flea medicine today.
Miles walked: 8.2

Another great relaxing day, walk on the beach, great dinner out. Read a book, worked a puzzle.
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed with your info re bird China. Thanks for sharing. John’s photography is very good. We had a great service this morning and our SS class was FULL. We napped when we got home. I finally went through summer bag of folded clothes. Found a place in the closet of saved items. Waiting on summer. 😎
