Tonight in dog training, Toby learned how to let a duck sit on top of his head. You wouldn’t believe how hard this was to teach.
He also started learning how to play dead, rest his head on his hands, stick his nose through a circle made out of our hands, and rest his head on our leg. We are all exhausted.

After lunch when it finally warmed up, we took Toby to Stirling Park to walk and play fetch.
He had a great time as he always does.
The high temperature was 77 degrees; it took long enough to get there!
He got to run free at full speed.
Unlike Dexter, Toby tires quickly and needs a rest.
But he is soon ready to go again.
His big booty slows him down in the corners.
But on the straights, he can muster considerable speed.
Break time
Sign in the restroom at the driving range, next to the walking trails. It’s hanging over the urinal. John said take a picture, so I did. And I just now got the double entendres.
We rode our bikes to Publix mid-afternoon to pick up some fresh fruit and something for dinner. We settled on pasta and marinara sauce made from whole ingredients, minimally processed. We bought a live basil plant last week. John planted it in the backyard. We’re going to get some leaves from it for tonight’s pasta meal. [Ed.: it was delicious!]
This morning’s walk was done in 52 degree weather, not fun.
The skies were pretty this morning but it was very chilly.
Miles walked: 6.8
Miles biked: 3.82

Your weather chilly. Try COLD AND WINDY. Enjoyed Toby featured photos. He is really smart. I went to Norstroms Tea room today with Joan for lunch. We hit a few shops looking at what is new for spring. Watching Duke basketball. Louise returned from 2 weeks vacation in Tuson so I am off Zazzie duty. Marc painted her kitchen cabinets white while they were gone. They turned out beautiful. Marc is such a DETAIL craftsman. Love to all.
ReplyDeleteJeff and I leave this morning for Isle of Palms. Joining Rosanne and Bud.
ReplyDeleteI went to a rose pruning class yesterday at Reynolda Gardens. Played the first USTA tennis match last night and drove to LKN. The house is ready to show and our cars are packed to the hilt for one last time.
