We enjoyed temperatures from 70-83 degrees today. There was a strong northern breeze all day, making even 80 degrees feel cool. We rode our bikes to the causeway and then walked.
We picked up egg foo yung on the way home for lunch. Afterwards, I rode my bike to the gym to exercise.
It was a beautiful day.
John’s picture of an great white egret at Lake Saundra
One of our walks around Highlander Park (We walked there twice today.)
We passed a neighbor on her golf cart on our last Toby walk. She handed off a bag full of these treats to us. This is all that’s left once we got home.
Tomorrow is Trick class at Petsmart and H&R Block tax filing appointment. This year, as last year, I sent all documents electronically through their secure app, so when we show up it will be just to sign. We could sign electronically, but we like to see her and ask questions.
Replacements, Ltd. is sending us a check for some of our dishes. Many were not deemed to be in mint condition and some were damaged in transit. I think we’ll break even once we factor in shipping and tape. Oh, well. We accomplished our goal to get rid of stuff, and that’s one heavy box that won’t have to be moved again or disposed of when we’re gone. Meanwhile, the CD copying project continues, another heavy box we’re ready to get rid of.
Miles walked: 11.5
Miles biked: 10.87

I hear you about the trouble to try to recycle. I have taken many heavy books to Edward McKay and waited in line for hours only to get $7.00 in cash and maybe $20 in credit. Next time even less. Not going to do that again. I will take the rest to Goodwill.
ReplyDeleteWe are home safe and sound. A full day. Will send photos tomorrow.
