On my way to the gym to exercise this morning, it poured down rain for about 5 minutes. By the time I got there on my bike, the skies were blue again.
Great workout.
We made it to Highlander Park for a Toby walk. The city is preparing for some sort of athletic festival and competition this weekend.
We also made a golf cart ride to Stirling Park with Toby for a walk.
We got invited to join neighbors outside down the street just to sit around and talk. There were 4 couples a little bit older than us, but we enjoyed them. They are all liberal Democrats, open and accepting.
Did you get wet going to the gym this morning? It POURED this morning while I was at the gym but very light sprinkle when I left for home. I helped Jan a litte yesterday and longer today. Her house closes the first week in June. She has so much stuff. I advised estate sale, then yard sale and take the remainder to Living Ministries. She has built in cabinets with doors in her garage on both sides/ floor to ceiling FULL. You and John would gasp! Love to all.
ReplyDeleteIt pored at High Rock Lake yesterday as well. Jeff leaves for Canada today and I pick up Julie at Greensboro airport at 5:30. Home tomorrow. Yay!
